This issue is with your computer only, windows is preventing to access mod config file. Lack of admin rights or file locked...

That's weird. I'm the only user of my computer and I am the admin and have admin rights.  I don't know why the file would be locked. I can access with notepad++ just fine. Time for some sleuthing. Any suggestions.

For what it's worth, I downloaded several versions of the mod and none of them worked.  But I didn't get any error messages on them.

It has nothing to do with modpack version. Manualy delete everything inside mods and res_mods folders then reinstall mods using the latest modpack, make sure you are playing and installing as admin.

That's what I do. Not sure why this mod is having the problem, all of the others are working fine.

  • Administrator

Do it right :) Close the game (restart pc), manualy delete all files in said folders (make sure there is no leftovers!), right click on installer .exe, select run as admin, then play the game as admin too. It has to work, no other option. If you do it right ofc.

 I installed just the mod and it's working now. For some reason, not all my permissions were set for the game even though I have admin rights. It's never happened before. Anyway I reset my permissions and ran the game. Mod still didn't work. :angry1: So I set the WorldofTanks.exe to run as administrator, and ran the game and the mod worked.

I have never had to do this with WoT, it has always been with all permissions and admin rights without me having to set them myself. I've noticed with the latest Windows 10 update, I have had to do a little extra to get some programs and games to work correctly. Go figure.

Thanks for your insight and help.
