For anyone that wants to use 5.2.3 mods on 5.2.4

The 5.2.4 update has been released! For those of you that want to use mods before Aslain reworks his modpack, you can do the following:

 

 

 

1) Open the 5.2.3 mod pack installer

 

2) See my attached notepad file, it has a list of compatible mods

 

3) Complete installation of mods

 

4) Locate your res_mods folder inside the WOWS directory (most likely C:\Games\World_of_Warships)

 

5) Rename the 5.2.3 folder inside res_mods to 5.2.4

 

 

I have played 15 games so far with this setup and had no errors, bugs, or crashes. You can choose to not use some of them, but so far I proven that all of these are compatible. Happy sailing!

You'd be surprised how many people do not even know where their res_mods folder is located lol. To top it off, taking the time to find old mods that are actually compatible with new versions of the game is not something that many even want to try to do. That's why I included the attached list.
