I found out what was causing it, I just needed confirmation, it works now.

I was affraid of it, looks like my fix to res/scripts works only for the EU client, and on the other clients it will cause issues with logging.

v3.8.18 (22-08-2014): - the problem you might experience, like crashing for no reason, is caused by WG minipatch that was applied yesterday - we need a new ModSettingsAPI mod - installing anything will apply a fix to res/scripts/ - temporary updated ModSettingsAPI with some older but working version

The issue was identified, and is not related to the modpack, I tried different modpacks from other authors with the same issue in the end.

I could add 4th option, with changed sides, but another time.

This bug is caused by WG, I can bet.

I will try to explain the issue: For some unknow reason either ModSettingsAPI or TankCarousel mod are bugging the original WoT files, as long as you use those mods, your game might work fine (although unstable) but if you try to remove them, you will be not able to run the game at all. Solution is to reinstall the game totaly (or copy few files over), but the issue might be back, the way it was there before. Possible fix in attachment (to fix WoT, not to fix wot + carousel and other fishy mods) Unpack to WoT folder. Note: this is from my EU client, it is unknown how it may affect the other ones. Imho should work fine on all clients. res.zip

I belive it's related to a faulty mod TankCarousel nor ModSettingsAPI.

I did some investigation of the problem, and it's like I said before, a local issue. It should work on the most properly configured pc's. If you see error like on this picture: Then try following thigs: Run the installer on the admin account "Run as administrator..." from the drop down mouse menu Disable the UAC Disable antivirus software You are doing it on own responsibility however, I will not be responsible if your PC get's infected because of those actions, I can only guarantee that my installer is always clean of viruses and alike.
