Same problem here, even when I download directly. So I tried wget and it saved me! I have the same issue with the modpack exe. edit: It seems to be working but it takes many minutes between clicks now whereas it used to be instant.

Also no luck after applying "Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6.1 for Windows 7 for x64 (KB3102433)". I'm curious if everyone who is seeing this problem is also on Windows 7?

No luck in Windows 7 after applying full "Important Updates"...trying "Optional Updates" now.

Same thing for me...no issues until the 9.14 modpack installer. I'm using Windows 7, and I don't update it very often, so maybe it's the perfect storm of crap. I don't [care to] know Windows well enough to figure it out since I only boot into it to play WoT or edit audio/video. But I googled my ass off a few nights ago trying everything I could find and nothing would solve this.
