as aslain says  he could only do the basic configs on the installer  just now  being on vacation,  

all these options will be  put into the installer at some point when he gets back home.

to be honest a lot of people don't read things  they just install and think it should automatically work with no problems

not to worry  as ive changed the sizes of the otm  as u can see , just a tad too small though lol   ill just add the file to custom folder for now ,.   its just learning about and wat to  edit to make changes I'm learning at the moment , as usual u and quakson are a great help for that

aslain I managed to remove them I found the config file after a lot of searching lol

the green icon that shows the tank types  , the square for arty, the triangle for td  the 3 stripes for heavy etc

not yet implemented with wot update yet  xvm guys  still working on it

aslain  I'm using your otm  config from installer but  I don't want the  tank type showing on the otm  is there a way I can remove it  through config files? if so where ? heres a screenshot of what I select from the installer  and the 2nd pic shows that the tank types r under the hp bar

yeh I did realise it was same person who did this together , but  we haven't had a response about his crosshair being updated  which also means the armor calculator wont be ready either

I don't mind the smartscreendoing wat it does as  it doesn't affect the performance of the laptop  or initiate scans for no reason

I mentioned this couple month back about chat and panel clashing , but  to make the panels higher requires a lot of editing to make the panels higher.

the problem that happens when  windows defender does this it start a maintenance scan .  that is built into windows 8 and 10  meaning your pc/laptop gets groggy .it doesn't just scan the file it scans the whole computer 

my advice disable  windows defender and put another program on , like malware bytes and avira

ive never used  windows defender before , I was just checking if I got same problems as everyone else that uses windows defender . problem with win 8 and 10  they have built in maintenance  which runs automatically .   windows defender  starts that maintenance  if it suspects   a file or .exe. ill  be going back to my avira now  lol never had a problem with avira or Malwarebytes

ive been running windows defender for about a week  , I took off avira antivirus. everything been fine with aslains modpack but  today aslains installer been acting up .

1st  thing I noticed I  double clicked  aslains modpack on my desktop  , it hung up and didn't open , then noticed laptop got laggy , so opened up task manager , and noticed that antimalware service executable  is hogging the cpu . I did a bit of research on this  and have found out that its windows defender . the reason  this hogs the cpu is  that windows defender suspects aslains  modpack installer as malware/virus  , so  windows defender  starts a maintenance scan   to make sure nothing has infected the pc/laptop .  

I disabled windows defender then  clicked on aslains installer on  the desktop and it opened up straight away , with no problems.

now  I deleted this shortcut from the desk top . turned on  windows defender .  now I went to the downloads folder  where all  aslains installers r saved . now the laptop is getting laggy again and I click one of the   installers shortcuts and boom     antimalware service starts up again and hogs the cpu again.

now the solution for me  now is never use windows defender again,  disable it and install your own malware program and antivirus

just very strange behaviour from windows defender which is causing a lot of problems with aslains installer

there is one wth the  hp tool bar they r set at disaboed as  default

One more thing that is random is the artillery crosshair on the mini map.  Sometimes only the green square/rectangle is visible and no center dot or crosshair and another battle all of it will be there.  This happens even when the tab, esc, ctrl key are working and the custom crosshair is working.  But, for me, when the crosshair did not work the keys also did not work.  closing the client during the battle and restarting would sometimes fix it but not always.  This problem is like a cruel joke...the funny thing is that these problems are happening on the 6th birthday of the game.  What a party.

I have also noticed that the circle in the square goes missing , one game its there the next its not then next game its back ,  but I have noticed when I hover over the   shell  types in game . but  the info don't appear,   but everything else seems to run fine  .  but one thing that does annoy me is these info pop ups. how the heck do I get rid of that ?

i'll explain about this , it is your smartscreen  which is built into w10 , it acts like an antivirus and fraud site  detector ,  when aslain  produces an updated mod pack  the smartscreen pops up when u try to install, as the file that aslain puts out hasn't been downloaded much smartscreen thinks it cud be dangerous , but when infact its safe , its juts precautionary  to let u know that basically its a new file on the net

I also noticed there are  2  other aspects of the hp  tool ,   which r  disable as default but I enable them and they work as they should

hi guys as u can see in the pic that  the health points amounts overlap  at top  , is there a way I can move it down or remove it ?  the silver font. if so can anyone tell me the path to the config file etc and wat to adjust

just rename the folders to the same number example   u have 2 folders     0.9.15.1 and 0.9.15.1.1 , just rename the  0.9.15.1 to .0.9.15.1.1 and itl merge or replace the folder to  a single folder

id like to add  that if stuff is working when not selected , this is due to leftover files etc , instead of a clean install through aslain installer , do a full fresh install  meaning remove aslains modpack from pc  completely.   now  doing the uninstall through program and features way isn't enough as after uninstall there r still files left over  in the wot files so u will have to go into wot files and remove any files with  the name of xvm and aslain. and also check the res_mods folder  and make sure that its only the patch folder in it and ithat its empty .

id also clear the wot game cache aswell  .  then run ccleaner . once all done  ,

re download and install modpack

The changes made it better for me. But of course I'll have to re-make them every time I update the mods

I had this problem too that aiming box was way off after switching views ,  for some reason it fixed itself   or that a mod I recently unselected fixed it
