  1. That explains why no one else was having a problem. :-) I don't know enough about skin mods to help you diagnose that issue.
  2. When did you download the modpack? Aslain originally uploaded the wrong one as 5.5.1.01. Maybe you got the original one and it was for the wrong version of the game.
  3. Have you tried starting the game in "safe mode" by clicking on the arrow next to the "Play" button on the WOWS Launcher?
  4. Maybe this should be a pinned post..... Wargaming is hoping to add those to the game in a future update. They think 0.5.6, but did not promise. The mod developer who did the previous version will not be updating his to work with the current version of the game.
  5. If I read your logs correctly, you chose to install a UI pack, and other earlier options when the instructions clearly state that could be incompatible. I would start by selecting the UI pack or other items, not both, and then seeing if you can get it to work.
  6. The default circle with the dotted line is your main artillery range. Then there was a detectable by ship circle and a detectable by airplane circle. The conversation was not that specific in the podcast.
  7. My normal mods appeared to run normally and complete with the expected results. Next try will be a different "complete UI pack" from the bottom of the mods list. _Aslain_logs.zip With only the Eugen Enchant UI pack... the modpack install does not appear to successfully complete running. Same results as with the BlueSteel pack. Folder named "version" and the two .bat files in the res_mods folder. I hope all that helps narrow down what is happening.. :-) _Aslains_Installer_CompList.log _Aslains_Installer_Options.inf
  8. Trying again with the BlueSteel and only adding the Hakabase icons with HP bar resulted in what appears to be an incomplete installation. In the res_mods folder, there is a folder called version, and two bat files: clean_up.bat and quick_fix.bat. No new log .zip file is created, but two of the three log files are updated. I attached them here. The process also stays running after I click on the finish button. Next I will try my normal mods. _Aslains_Installer_CompList.log _Aslains_Installer_Options.inf
  9. I just downloaded the latest modpack and chose only the BlueSteel UI Pack towards the bottom of the list and after the modpack finished... the res_mods folder was empty. It seems to be missing the 0.5.5.1 folder that would contain the mod files. _Aslain_logs.zip
  10. After you select one of the custom ports in the modpack, you need to go into the port selection setting in the game (anchor symbol in the upper left hand corner, above the missions box). Then choose the Yokosuka port on the far left. The name will not reflect the DLC port you selected in the modpack, but the image will.
  11. I'll be more specific about the manual change. After you run the modpack installer... go into the res_mods folder. You should find a folder with the old version (in this case 0.5.5.0) that has some files. You will also see a folder with the new version number (in this case 0.5.5.1) with just a readme.txt file. Back in the res_mods folder... delete the 0.5.5.1 folder and then rename the 0.5.5.0 to be 0.5.5.1. Then start the game.
  12. It worked for me. Can you post a screenshot of the contents of your res_mods directory?
  13. Weird.. I ran the modpack installer again to change to a different DLC port and the problem I described was reversed, showed picture after starting the game and the login movie when I disconnected, but only two times. The third time, it was back to the way I originally described the problem. No changes on my side, just starting the game, logging out, logging in and out, then restarting the game. In case there is a difference in the logs, other than the port change, I included them again. _Aslain_logs.zip
  14. Thanks @Aslain for the HP bars with the Hakabase icons.
  15. I have selected a different "loading" picture (Squad) and Disable the login movie (Zuiho). The loading picture is changed, but the first time I get the login screen, the movie is playing in the background. If I log in and choose "disconnect from server" when takes me back to the login screen, I see the Zuiho picture. If I close the game and restart, then the movie plays again. I get the Zuiho picture again if I log in and then "disconnect from server" again. _Aslain_logs.zip
  16. Or go into the res_mods folder and rename the 0.5.5.0 folder to be 0.5.5.1 and see if that works for you.
  17. This looks like a World of Tanks question that should be moved out of the World of Warships forums... @Quaksen or @Aslain
  18. WG has been better about publishing update notes and doing it prior to the actual update for the NA users.
  19. Assuming the "Hydro-acoustic" searh in the game is similar to what is commonly called "sonar", that would pickup any noises, not just prop-wash style noises. Anything with moving parts that is eventually connected to the hull of a ship (unless mitigated with a sound dampening material) will transmit noise through the hull of the ship out into the water. Water is a much better conductor of noise than air so it will travel for a long way.
  20. My favorite is the Hakabase icons..
  21. The podcast referenced in my answer here is no longer the most recent:
  22. OK. Guess I was thinking that was only a "radar" warning... wasn't thinking about the Hydro search when that icon popped up. Thanks guys.
  23. Can someone please watch this replay of a Tier 5 battle? Just a few minutes in, I am sitting in my smoke screen and my "detected by radar" warning lights up. I didn't think anyone at T5 had radar. 20160509_220255_PRSD105-Pr-7-Gnevny_08_NE_passage.wowsreplay
