  1. What "load screen"? When you try to start the game (loading the login screen or the garage) or when you try to enter battles (battle loading screen)? Could try to use these options at the end of the installation and see if that helps. Otherwise, you might have to attach the files as suggested in this thread http://aslain.com/index.php?/topic/9-how-to-report-a-bug-or-issue/ and wait until someone checks them in the morning (in about 4-6 hours maybe), in order to see if they can help. The error might also be on your end/caused by another mod installed but it's hard to tell without those files. There will also be a new version of the installer, so if something is bugged and can be fixed, the new version will likely do it.
  2. If the mod is updated by the original author and works with the rest of the mods in this pack, I'm sure it will be added again. Just takes time to collect and test everything, so be patient. =)
  3. It caused issues, aparently. Seems like a new version is out but idk if it's working. I'm sure though, that Aslain is all over the place and tries to collect and sees if mods are updated and working. Initial release is just to cover basic mods, so the game won't be totally vanilla and a bit more playable. More stuff will be added again, just takes time.
  4. Sounds that have been in this mod, and aren't right now, will likely be added again, once/if they are updated to 9.2 and work with the modpack. If you like and know how to add sounds manually, you can also do that. Additionally, you can now use the installer to automatically install working mods each time you run the installer. For more information on that, you can try to read up about it http://aslain.com/index.php?/topic/66-using-your-own-mods-with-the-installer/. Be warned though, if you don't really know what you're doing, don't mess with sound files (or mods in general) without backing up your files, as they can mess up your original game files. If you don't feel confident, try to ask for help or just leave it be and see if your favorite mods will be added to the pack again.
  5. Hehe. It's not too hard to get 5 comments out of your system anyway and if one cared enough, they can even be good/helpful/funny ones. There are enough topics anyway and I bet - on a day like today - there would be hundreds of ppl just asking "when is it ready?" or "why does that not work?" all day long in the shoutbox, if there wasn't this restriction. Kinda encourages ppl to actually visit some threads and maybe read. =P
  6. Screenshots, at the very least, would probably help too.
  7. Try to add the files as listed here: http://aslain.com/index.php?/topic/9-how-to-report-a-bug-or-issue/ Putting them into a .zip archive should be the best way to do it, I suppose. This will be more helpful for the ppl analysing the issue, as they can see if the installer messed up somewhere and what your config is.
  8. Well, I think the idea behind it is that ppl don't abuse the shoutbox and spam useless crap, unless they have applied themselves some in the forum activities and are genuinely interested in communicating with others. It's just a guess though and I think it's not too bad of an idea. Ppl who just come here and want to read things - and not post much - usually don't have a reason to use the shoutbox either, I would think. Others can warm themselves up in the forums, so to speak, and then get a little bit more involved and use the shoutbox, if they please.
  9. Well, you don't always get those audio messages though, at least I know I don't, even if I hit the enemy. Therefore the hitlog would have to distinguish between those different types of hits - those that are announced to you and those that aren't. Which would be pointless again, since it still won't tell you all the damage that you caused. And as has been stated before, getting information that is normally not available to you is considered going into the realm of cheating. I understand that the game itself records all of those hits and displays them to you AFTER the battle but it doen't make those infos available to you during the actual battle. So you aren't supposed to have this information, for the reasons stated by pab. You can't confuse information that the game has and information that the game actually shares with you. You could read out tons of information, for example all enemy positions, but you aren't supposed/allowed to have all of that information. Idk, that's merely my take on it and I'd rather be safe than sorry in that respect. If all your hits would always be announced to you, then the matter would be a bit different.
  10. Aslain mentioned the other day that you have to have made at least 5 forum posts, in order to be able to use the sandbox, iirc.
  11. Yea, I've been hesitant to even try it too. Should really know a little bit what you are doing. It's not that difficult but some ppl might not be familiar with manually installing things. I guess, that's one of the downsides, if you have such an easy-to-use installer too. =3 But the good thing is, ppl can always ask for help and, most likely, will be helped too.
  12. I shall leave my official "thank you" for BeGin here then. =) I honestly like that thing. Single most useful thing, besides the installer itself and the mod-infos in it, that you implemented a while back (for me anyway).
  13. I like this idea too. Though, I'm not a programmer and can't help with realizing such a mod. Would be a nice thing to have though, if you try to improve your stats in a particular tank and want to have it all visible in your carousel.
  14. What BeGin said. Mods aren't supposed to give you more information than you'd normally get (although some of them do), they should mainly just improve their visibility, if you want. According to WG, that would be considered cheating, since you'd have more info available than your enemies (unless they used the exact same mods) does.
  15. *Unicums usually are badass at hiding in a bush until there is 1-5 of the own team or less than 5 ppl of the enemy team left. Then they, magically, grow a set of steel-balls and try to impress little 2 y/os with how awesome they are in WoT. I come from a game where even the most awesome WoT-performance is just childs-play, compared to what I'm used to. No coordination, no tactical understanding whatso-fu*****-ever, no discipline, no common sense, no matter how hard you try and even if you know all other 14 ppl, it's still impossible to coordinate a team for the majority of players. Unless you can coordinate like 32 ppl and make sure that everyone does his job exactly as described, then you should just go fk off and be happy about how much freedom you have in WoT. I'd rather be a unicorn all day long, instead of a wannabe-unicum. I'd rather cut my di** off, fry it in a pan, eat it, puke it out, fry that and eat it again, than being one of those really bad unicums. xD Unicum usually means "I'm very good at 1on1 combat and I really suck at everything that involves more than 1 person or more than 1 braincell".
  16. Unicum/unicorn, all the same to me. I don't know zhe differenz. >_<
  17. I can't read all of it anymore, the ADD kicking in again. =3 Glad that you figured it out though. And I hope that you'll be happy about this new addition, as I am.
  18. Ok, that does it.. Get rdy for WW3, like nao! Just follow my steps and timestamps. If you have the mods on a different disc/partition as your desktop, just pull the "res_mods" stuff onto your desktop and keep doing that for all parts and.. well, read the other post. <_<
  19. He could be a unicorn trying to troll you too. Never know where those unicorn bastards show up next. =3
  20. Wtf are you wasting my time for then!? Just create a "mod1.zip" with the "res_mods" stuff I explained and put it into the custom files folder.
  21. Guess I'll never beat you this way. =( I always assume that there's more than 1 nation in the "vehicle" folder. In any case, you can still proceed as I suggested: :26 and onwards, just put the "res_mods" on your desktop and continue to add the other stuff to it, until you're done.
  22. That's basically what I said.. You're so american..
  23. You're like the Grinch! You ruin my day all day everyday.
  24. Dude, I so earned my beer with this one though..................
