This seemed to be a good hint for me, but it doesn't work... :-(

I tried it with a new installation, verified that this option is not set but the roman numbers are displayed as usual, because "removeVehicleLevel" is still set to "false" in all the three files (battleLoading, battleLoadingTips, and statisticForm) after the installation.

So, either this is the wrong option for removing the roman tier numbers in battleLoading and statisticForm OR this is the right option but it does not work like intended. Maybe this option has some hidden dependencies to other options, but I wasn't able to figure that out.

  2. The multi row carousel has been part of XVM for quite a while now.. it's nothing new in 9.15 :)

The "opt out GUI" you're talking about, is that the "Clean install without XVM"? It was bugged when it was first introduced, and never removed XVM.. it was fixed at some point though (all within 9.15)

  3. Go into: World of Tanks\res_mods\configs\xvm\Aslain\minimapCircles.xc

And make a line similar to this:

                { "enabled": true, "distance": 50,          "scale": 1, "thickness": 0.75, "alpha": 60, "color": "0xFFCC66" },

Adjust your distance, thickness, alpha and color... to what you want.

Color options can be easily found using something like this: www.color-hex.com

  4. Hit the Print Screen button on your keyboard, while in a game, and then visit your World of Tanks folder, it'll have a Screenshots folder, called "shot_xxx" where xxx is the number of the screenshots taken.. might be 001 if it's your first :)

Then you click "choose files" in this reply box, and attach it :)

  5. The proximity warning is from          ATAC! (enemy in proximity 100m warning)

The sixth sense icon should be a red ! from Metal Gear

Not sure what you mean by the WoT standard binoculars, the icon when you get spotted (if the above ! from Metal Gear isn't working) should be a red/orange lightbulb, (the sixth sense lamp)

  6. Had to ask :P it would have explained a lot why your Sixth Sense wasn't showing ;) hehe..

Without the sixth sense duration by ekspoint selected, that you said you unchecked, your spotted sound should be the Metal Gear warning sound, not sure how to write that noise, lol.

I too am having problems with the install.  I just installed ver.20 and went to check off gnomefathers gunsounds the installer crashed.  I restarted the installer and left gun sounds alone. installer ran and I did a fresh install without XVM on a fresh WoT install. A lot of the mods don't work.  Eg. multi row carousel, vertical tech tree, to name a couple.  This has been going on since the newest WoT update.  What am I missing?

    python.log

    _Aslain_logs.zip

Well, you said it yourself, didn't you?.... you did a fresh install WITHOUT XVM :) The multi row carousel is part of XVM, for example.

  8. Someone questioned this mod a while ago, and got an official answer saying that the enemy turret direction was okay as long as it's not outside of your view distance.

I can't find the link anymore, though. Also no clue if they changed the policy on it. Try checking some of the NA modpacks, if they include it, it's still fine to use on NA.

    Update:

Found the picture, and link too.

    Hello

How can i add them manuel ? i didnt get it :(

Open the zip files, and open the version folder inside of it... drag the "gui" folder there into the version folder in res_mods (currently 0.9.15.0.1).

  10. Made both... place either, or both into this folder:

    World of Tanks\Aslains_Custom_mods

And run the installer again, and they'll be installed alongside the rest of your stuff.

    Remove-WG-Emblem.zip

    Remove-WG-Inscriptions.zip

If you don't want ot rerun the installer, just open the zip files, and place the files into the proper folders.

(Note: Inside the zip, it's called "version" folder, instead of the actual version, due to the installer being able to read that... just so you don't extract the full path, and yeah, you'll get it :P)
