which file is in it?
The Update Checker, listed at the very bottom of the modpack, is what is connecting to pastebin to see if there's an update 🙂
-
Please attach log files. See my signature on how to.
-
Did you restart your computer?
Fixes that error in most cases.
And if it doesn't - then it's your anti-virus software interfering with the changes that "sed" is trying to do (it's a text editor, basically)
-
It's not really. It shows what you minimum need to reach, but if someone else does more, he gets it.
If you have damage logs on, you should already see the numbers you'd want to see for Steel Wall though?
Otherwise there's the in battle achievement display that'll pop up once you might have it..
-
Literally impossible to show that for sure. Depends who receives and blocks the most damage if more than one person qualifies.
1000 combined recieved/blocked and 11 hits at least..
-
Someone with the authority would still need to be on - even if such a mod existed though - as the mod itself would need the permissions to do it.

About the source code of the old installer, let me know if you (or @Aslain) really have it and what is it (what tool or in which langage/platform is it written if it is not made with any "off the shelf" tool for making installers). I will try to find programmer if it is not something really rare.
Aslain has the source code.
It's Inno Setup as far as I remember.
Pretty sure Inno Setup cannot do the things that have been requested, like the in-modpack search, but don't quote me on that 😛
Maybe it can, just needs the coder that can do it.
Aslain will probably drop by with a message here when he can 🙂

so we can address #242 Aslain's option when speaking with friends
Pretty sure if descriptions are open, the component number is shown, not sure that helps.
Just now, jumper456 said:@Quaksen thanks for reply, it will be some help to search the txt file, better than nothing, but still need to scroll half a day to find the option 😉 Have you (or Aslain) got the source code of the installer, so it can be modified, or you do need the completly new one (as there is no source code or rights to modify it/ etc) to add any new functions to installer?
You shouldn't need to scroll half a day. When you search in the text file - look on the scroll bar to the right side - that position will match in the modpack, since the text file is a full list in order the same as it is in the modpack 🙂
Aslain has it - but I'm pretty sure it's going to be a brand new one - since the existing probably cannot do it even with heavy modifications.. but not sure on that.

Thanks for the List trick ... it'll help a lot!
Yeah it's great, and since the other thing isn't a possibility until someone can code a new installer, then it's neat to have 🙂

4: At the moment, there is a search function that can be used, once modpack has been used once, you'll end up having:
\World of Tanks\Aslain_Modpack\Components_List.txt
And you can use that to search with, since the position will match inside the modpack. No need to get "fatigue" looking at everything.15 minutes ago, jumper456 said:+1 to search/find option also.

You'd need to look into that thread.
If you want to backup settings and load again later, like if you're changing computer, sharing with friends, etc.

Its more so that there are so many thousands of icons in the pack it takes a long time to unpack.
If you click on disk tab next time, it should sort so you can see what is creating it and how fast..
-
Are you installing to HDD?
Also you're having 48% Disk utilization in those pictures, so something is definently happening 😉 probably shown as the unpack process instead of the modpack itself.

Run the modpack, make your selections, install while using "Delete all previous mods from the game (strongly advised) - wipes out everything in res_mods and mods folders."
And then when you want to add/remove things - run the modpack again, it remembers last choices - change things - install while using above setting still (it'll be selected still from previous)
And just repeat until the look suits you. You can also check out the preview images almost everything has, without need to check it in a battle.

I think there is another mod in my modpack that allows you to edit the Battle button text, it's one of the Champi mods. Maybe Little Helper or something.
Yeah.
Little Helper Collection by Champi
It's in the bottom 25% if you look on the scroll bar on the right side in modpack.

Do you know if this mod stops other players from seeing you are using XVM?
No. It does what I said, "it removes the display of the X icon, which shows if others are using XVM"
You can't hide if you're using XVM, as far as I know.
-
If it's possible with XML editing - it could happen 🙂
-
Like the preview image in the modpack suggests, it removes the display of the X icon, which shows if others are using XVM.
-
Run modpack again to change things, yes.
Modpack remembers all your choices.
Unselect the thing you don't want.
Continue with install, remember to check the box for deleting previous mods on the last page..
Done! 🙂

Det er fordi spillet har fået en opdatering her til morgen, så det nu er 1.15.0.1, så vent på modpack bliver opdateret 🙂
(Because of micropatch this morning, game is now 1.15.0.1, so wait for modpack update)

Press Windows key, and type "Reputation" and it should show up with "Reputation-based Protection", try checking those?
That's the only idea I have right now..

Select the "Reserve" filter in the carousel filter menu.
Right click the tnak, take it off reserve again if you want it off reserve.
