  1. Class panels with hp bars, I'm using the one with side panels as I really like the V1 from BADoBEST.
  2. Ahh, that is interesting. Thanks for the quick response. I really liked that mod, it was the only way to use some other mods without the ribbons covering them up.
  3. I know you're real good about keeping the mods updated Aslain, BZ to you for that and much appreciated. I was wondering if there was any word on the mod that shrunk the ribbons. My assumption is you're waiting for it to be updated, just thought I'd ask. Again, BZ on the whole mod pack.
  4. As above, that was the preferred method. The radar for the main battery would illuminate the target but they also had someone up in Spot 1 and Spot 2 on rangefinders (ether stereo or coincidence), the computer would solve for range and deflection and own ship movement. The radar could spot fall of shot, usually the gunnery officer would walk the shots across the MPI (this was the USN method, other navies might vary due to lack of gunnery radar or procedure). I think the RN preferred coincidence rangefinders and the USN preferred stereo rangefinders, I'd have to go check my references. In local control, the turrets would spot their own targets via stereo or coincidence rangefinders and enter their own firing solution. You might find this useful as well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3HoSh3n3CaI
  5. Ahh, the DMZ. A place my brother and I don't miss at all. Godspeed.
  6. There's a mod in the modpack to change it to yellow, green and I think red or blue.
  7. No worries, was just pointing that out. Gl and have fun.
  8. You know the interior shots are on Alabama as well as almost all of the exterior shots. You can tell which exterior shots since Alabama doesn't have Nixie doors.
  9. For some reason only national voices work. No more Japanese girls chatting on my ARP ships and no Segal either. Waiting for WG to fix that.
  10. I didn't notice the timestamps when I posted that. That is nuts.
  11. Last post by author on that link was 14 hrs ago, he updated it to 0.6.14.
  12. You would think your antivirus would screw with everything or nothing but sadly, that's not always true. It might not have a problem with all but one item in the mod pack and give you that error, it might be ok with just one item and pop errors on everything else. One of the annoying things I run into in the IT world.
  13. I don't know how to use that one so I can't answer. I've just now sorta figured out how to use Skapel's.
  14. Make sure you read the notes for the crosshair you pick in the mod. You usually have to select a specific crosshair in game in order for the one you want in the mod to work.
  15. I just downloaded it with no problem. I always click on #4 and the direct option, not the link itself.
  16. I've used the Imperial Alert for the longest time, it hasn't worked (none of them have) for 5-6 patches now for me.
  17. My guess is it got broken with the last patch and hasn't been updated yet.
  18. Not really. If you're firing over a terrain feature at that blind target without a lock your shells are most likely going to impact the terrain feature. And the blind fire mode you're worried about isn't going to help you at all. I've tried that very thing more than once and if you manage to get any hits you're just plain lucky as hell.
  19. Give it a day or so and Aslain should have a new mod pack ready for the 0.6.8 patch that hit today (18 JUL). I believe he's on the EU server and I think they're a day behind us so he can't do anything until he gets the patch.
  20. Try disabling your antivirus for the install.
  21. I think someone else had this issue a while back, you might try a few things (if you haven't already). 1. Download the modpack again and try installing from that fresh download. There may have been some issue with your original download (it happens sometimes). 2. Disable your antivirus and try installing. Sometimes that prevents things from happening.
  22. No problem Aslain, thanks for looking into it and providing a status update. Much appreciated.
