  1. Here is Wargaming NA Support calling it illegal. All of the posts and threads on the forums where this mod was called legal by Wargaming NA staff have been moved or deleted. I did a search last night and none of them appear in search results. All links to the posts calling the mod legal are dead.
  2. Pigeon_of_War is now the Assistant Producer for WoT NA and a WoT NA Forum Administrator. When I told Pigeon and GhostPrime about the issue, all of the Wargmaing employee replies in that Prohibited Mod Q&A thread on the WOT NA forums were deleted. Then a few hours later the thread was moved or deleted. I'd advise against players on the NA server using the mod if they stream or if they plan to ever send screenshots to support. I'd recommend they send the replay to support instead of screenshots if they use that mod. I also lost two days of premium time due to the ban because the ban started on Thursday and the issue didn't get resolved until Friday afternoon.
  3. I'm getting the same issue. The two XFT hit logs for damage done and damage received are on top of each other.
  4. The mod was said to be legal back in the spring of 2015 by Wargaming NA employees on the forums. Earlier versions of the mod that showed tank turret direction outside the draw box were illegal. Wargaming NA has tried to clear up the questions about legality of mods, but that sometimes creates more confusion based on interpreting terminology such as "active teamwork."

I found out recently when I filed a support ticket that the Minimap Tankview Extended mod might not be legal on the NA server or its legality is questionable depending on who at Wargaming NA is interpreting the rules. I filed a support ticket because a player on my team was making racist comments about people with darker skin tones, pro Hitler comments, and comments about putting Jews in ovens in the in game team chat. I received the usual canned response that Wargaming will investigate it, however they can't tell me if they issued sanctions on the layer. Then I received a 1 week ban for illegal mod use based on the in game screenshots I provided. After contacting some Wargaming North America employees I know through the official forums, I had the matter cleared up and the ban reversed. I was banned due to a misunderstanding of some of the rules. Previously, Wargaming NA employees said that the Minimap Tankview Extended mod was legal based on the rule that mods are legal if they give you information based on what you can see yourself and what team mates can communicate to you. The rule that said prohibited mods include "Mini Map modifications that passively provide information to the individual player without the use of active teamwork." The mod's legality is in question based on how you define "Active Teamwork." Now some Wargaming customer support employees are stating that "active teamwork" means having active communication with a team mate on another part of the battlefield(such as voice communications during clan wars) and the mod isn't legal because you don't have active communication with all of your team mates in pub battles. I was told to stop using the modification because customer support won't reverse any future bans I get for using that mod.

  7. I did not choose the XVM hitlog in the installer. Yer the XVM hitlog keeps showing up in game. I went to hitLog.xc and changed the line to say "enabled": false yet it still shows up. I also tried uninstalling the mod pack and reinstalling the mod pack and got the same results. The other hit log, the Multi Hit Log shows up correctly on the top right of the screen. How do I disable the XVM hitlog? This is what keeps showing up: _Aslain_logs.zip python.log
  8. I tried it again, reinstalled WoWs and downloaded the latest version of the WoWs mod pack. WHen I select the Tic Tac eye of Sauron cross hair and start the game I get the stock WoWs cross hair. I don't know what the issue is because with previous versions of the mod pack and previous versions of WoWs I NEVER had this issue. The Tic Tac eye of Sauron cross hair always worked fine. _Aslain_logs.zip
  9. Like I said before, "I kept getting the stock world of warships cross hair." I never get the cross hair from the mod pack when I selcet the Tic Tac eye of Sauron cross hair. I can't show you what Type 1 looks like because it never shows up in game. With older versions of the game and mod pack the cross hair worked fine with no issues. I tried uninstalling the mod pack and installing ti with other cross hairs and they all work fine. My issue is the Tic Tac eye of Sauron cross hair NEVER shows up and its always the stock in game corsshair.
  10. Well in uninstalled, rebooted and reinstalled and it never shows up I kept getting the stock cross hair. Everything else worked fine.
  11. The stock in game cross hair is showing up. Not the installed cross hair.
  12. Whenever I select the Tic Tac eye of Sauron cross hair it never installs. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the mod pack and the same thing happens. I'm stuck with the stock game cross hair and not the one I selected. _Aslain_logs.zip
  13. I can't think of any mod selection that changed between then and now. I use the same ones most of the time.
  14. Since installing 9.14.50 I'm having frequent crashes at the start of battle and and often my battles fail to load at the start. It started after installing 9.14.50. I didn't have an issue with previous versions of the mod pack including 9.14.48. Sometimes the game crashes right at the start of the battle. Other times the bar goes across showing the battle loading, but the battle never loads. I have to go into task manager and end task then restart WoT to get the battle to load. _Aslain_logs.zip python.log

  16. With version .03 I can't put my crew members that are in the barracks into their tanks. I get the message, "Unable to transfer crew members to vehicle. Please try again later." _Aslain_logs.zip python.log
  17. I was having the in game chat issues without Penetration Indicator or ATAC! installed.
  18. I now have this interesting bug where chat stops working after I die if I switch my view to another tank. I'm trying to figure out what mod does it. I've reinstalled the mod pack several times with different options and haven't figured it out yet. Before the chat didn't work at all. now I can get it to work most of the time except after my tank is dead and I switch to another tank's view.
  19. I uninstalled the mod pack and reinstalled it with less options and the in battle chat and the chat in the hangar still doesn't work.
  20. I found another bug with the above config. Both the in game chat and the chat in the hanger don't work at all. The chat works fine with your mod pack uninstalled.
  21. I did another install and reinstall of the mod pack with less options and now it works without freezing. I attached the log files to help diagnose the issue. _Aslain_logs.zip python.log
  22. I uninstalled then reinstalled the mod pack with less options and it still has the same issue. I attached log files again. I'm going to retry with less options again to see if I can figure out what may be causing the issue. _Aslain_logs.zip python.log
  23. The game freezes on battle loading and doesn't let me into battle. Also, the game freezes on battle loading when playing replays. I downloaded several replays form Wotreplays.com to verify its not one replay. The replays work fine with no mods installed. I attached the logs. I previously tried uninstalling the mod pack and loading some of the mods individually. XVM works fine without an issue. It seems that Jimbos Crosshairs and the armor penetration indicator mod may be causing an issue. I'm not sure if other mods I selected also contribute to the issue because I didn't download them from the source and try them individually yet. _Aslain_logs.zip python.log
  24. I'd like to expand on the "Never trust allies" bit. You actually should expect your allies to do the worst thing possible for the situation and plan accordingly. That way you aren't shocked when they do the worst thing possible and are pleasantly surprised when they do something good. Also, the watching your own replays bit really helps out. You notice many things that you never see in the game, missed shots because you had poor situational awareness, where you took damage that was unnecessary because you had poor situational awareness, where you made a bad decision in the heat of battle because you tunnel visioned, etc...
  25. There are other OTM reload mods with the same animated circle above the tanks and no expiration date. I'm curious why they aren't used in the mod pack as an option?
