Shagglehod Posted December 21, 2017 Posted December 21, 2017 Why does Aslain keep including the various port mods in the installer if they don't work? Unless they do work and I just suck, in which case can somebody intelligent direct me to how to make them work, since evidently just checking them off and installing it doesn't seem to work. I have tried going into the DLC Cache and doing it manually as well, and the ports did not appear. Quote
Administrator Aslain Posted December 21, 2017 Administrator Posted December 21, 2017 Just don't install them for now, if you belive they're causing problems. It will be checked further and either removed from the modpack or updated. You didn't include logs, so I cannot check your case properly. Quote
Administrator Aslain Posted December 21, 2017 Administrator Posted December 21, 2017 Checked all ports, no issues. Quote

Checking off the boxes doesn't seem to be enough to install them properly. Is there anything that could be interfering? Quote
Administrator Aslain Posted December 21, 2017 Administrator Posted December 21, 2017 Are you installing Custom Battle Loading Window? There was a bug in it, that overwritten file used by maaaaaaany mods. Alternatively go to Aslains_DLC_cache folder and manualy delete loading_screen_Roslich_6150.7z, then reinstall the modpack. Quote
Shagglehod Posted December 21, 2017 Author Posted December 21, 2017 So I just tried a fresh install, wiping ALL mods, installing nothing but the ports. Not one of them worked. Quote
Administrator Aslain Posted December 21, 2017 Administrator Posted December 21, 2017 Show me logs too, who knows, maybe I can find something there. btw. what happens in the game? You see no port, game is crashing or... ? Quote
Shagglehod Posted December 21, 2017 Author Posted December 21, 2017 (edited) All I see is the regular ports. It's as if the mods just aren't installing and nothing is happening. They're all present in the DLC cache as the 7z folders. Aslains_WoWs_Logs.zip Edited December 21, 2017 by Shagglehod Quote
Administrator Aslain Posted December 21, 2017 Administrator Posted December 21, 2017 Steam installation hm... are you installing to correct folder? Quote
Shagglehod Posted December 21, 2017 Author Posted December 21, 2017 (edited) Yep, I know how the whole bin file thing works, and I delete the old one upon a new update. All other mods work perfectly, only ports are having problems working. Edited December 21, 2017 by Shagglehod Quote
fruta_mala Posted January 3, 2018 Posted January 3, 2018 Same issue; steam install, new ports don't show, other mods all seem to work. Aslains_WoWs_Logs.zip Quote

Aslains_WoWs_Logs.zip You shouldn't install with WoWs client running. Do it again when it's turned off. If you still have problems show me a screenie with ports selection screen. Quote
fruta_mala Posted January 4, 2018 Posted January 4, 2018 (edited) Aslain - Thanks for the reply. Pics of my choices from the installer and the ports available in-game are attached. Also attached a new logs zip. I had rebooted the system and ran the installer before starting the game for the 1st time, so there should be no client running error. On the next test, I also unselected all other mods (I hope), just in case of some incompatible mod issue, but got the same port options. Appreciate the help! Administrator Aslain Posted January 6, 2018 Administrator Posted January 6, 2018 Unfortunately that logs are from game client that is installed in location: D:\Games\World_of_Warships\ I would have to see logs that are installed in steam folders. It looks like you're installing mods to wrong folder. Quote
