Ground explosion when firing from sniper mode

Has anyone seen this? Is it a challenge with the mod pack or a WOT bug?? I do not use any aiming mods but have attached the logs either way.

 

When firing from sniper mode, I sometimes get a explosion in the ground in front of me as if I was aiming into the dirt. It doesn't always happen (about 50% of the time). It has happened with several different tank types. I can tell that it doesn't seem to effect the shot however. I still hit the target I am aimed at. Also, the tracer disappears.

Now a buddy and I went into a training room where he observed me shooting. He did not see the ground explode and he saw my tracer. So it seems to only be effecting the person who fired the round.

The issue showed up after the WOT mini-patch this past week (wee of 2/11/18).

FWIT - This issue seemed to have disappear overnight. I updated to the newest version of the mod pack (at that time) and the issue resolved itself. So whatever was the problem, it was quickly resolved.
