joeyll88
Hi..after i just installed this latest update most of the time the game freezes up at the login screen or right before going into battle. I've already checked my paths.xml file and yes it still had the last version 8.10 listed so i changed that to 11 but still did not fix. It also makes it to where i have to manually close out the game by going to task manager and killing the wows process just to close it out. Aslains_WoWs_Logs.zip Quote Link to comment
Sybeck
See my earlier post. Sounds similar. 1 Quote Link to comment
Administrator Aslain Posted December 12, 2019 Administrator Share Posted December 12, 2019 Don't use loading screens, they got broken in 8.11.0 1 Quote Link to comment
joeyll88
I disabled all the login mods and that seemed to fix the issue of it freezing after I queue up for a game. Its started doing it again ...freezing after I queue up for a game but it seems to just be in my Yamamoto. I keep getting warnings for inactivity in the game.. Doh! I've included a screenshot of what it looks like when it hangs up and my logs. Aslains_WoWs_Logs.zip Quote Link to comment
waaman
This is happening to me now and the only solution to get out of the game is what you did above by using task manager. Has anyone found a solution? Quote Link to comment
joeyll88
Update...What finally fixed my issue of the game freezing up at random times and having to cntr-alt-delte out of the game was this. I had just installed a new video card and drivers . I changed some of the settings in the Nvidia control panel to make the graphics quality a little better. That was the issue. I had to reset everything back to the defaults and as soon as i did that I've had no more issues since. Long story short is it had nothing to do with the mods like i thought. Quote Link to comment
