Tried to uninstall, need admin permission

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

The newest mod pack would not install because of a file named "patch". I had this issue a long time back and I couldn't fix it. So, I tried to uninstall WoT back then. No luck because of that file.

Now the issue has returned. I used the uninstall file in the mod pack to uninstall the entire mod pack but, it didn't remove the file. Everytime I try to delete that file I'm told I need admin permission. The "patch" file is in three different folders (see attached). How do I fix this issue? (RESOLVED)

The modpack requires admin rights to be installed, so it's normal that is also requires admin to uninstall. That files are part of the modpack and are critical to perform installation, they are automaticaly removed after installation. Your lack of priviledges or weird system permissions prevented that, maybe antivir too.
