"non admin user" + "zoom out" = "bug"

Hi all

 

Bug description:

at battle load screen, the cursor reaches 100% and then nothing happens: it stays at 100%. An [alt] [tab] to Windows and then back to WoT gives a black screen.

 

Bug conditions:

In Aslain's installer, Check the "Zoom out" option. I tested both 60m and 100m max distances

and

Launch WoT as a non admin Windows user

 

Reproducible:

Yes. 100%.

 

Notes:

Aslain's installer being run from an admin session or executed as an admin from a non admin session has no effect on the bug.

Bug also happens when launching a training.

Languages specifics: windows, WoT and Aslain's installer are in french

OS specifics: Windows 7

Please attach logs, info in my signature. I will try to reproduce. However the installer is made for admin users, not sure everything will work for normal user anyway.

Also, since I experience troubles and try to understand them, I now run the installer from an admin account.

I see the log is from old 4.2.12, have you tried the latest version?

 

Could not reproduce anyway, both configs you provided are fine on my PC, all is working, noting hanging.

I just tested the .23 version. I still have the bug, only if WoT is launched as a non admin user.

 

Can you confirm you tested the above bugged config with non admin rights for playing WoT?
