Problem with Aslain Icons

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

I have a problem with the Aslain icons ingame. I have successfully installed the Icons with Arab tiers.

Never had the problem during the last 5 years. But now they don't show up. Instead i have it like in the attached picture.

Installation looks fine, it's definitely a local issue, not a bug in the installer.

Try to reinstall mods, but do not click on "Finish" button, then navigate to C:\Games\World_of_Tanks\res_mods\ and look for "version" folder, check if you can see those files there:

It's there before you click finish, did you do like I suggested?

Check if you have Aslains_contour_icons_arab_TIM_1912.7z in c:\Games\World_of_Tanks\Aslain_Modpack\DL_cache\

So the problem is on the stage when that 7z should be unpacked to wot.../res_mods/, I dont know why it's not doing that, check antivir, also make sure you are launching the installer as admin (right click on .exe).

There are a lot of exceptions in my firewall called aslain. Don't think that's it.

Tried running the installer as admin, it does no difference.

Can i just unpack that 7z manually?

Well, you probably have no other choice. Rename the version folder inside 7z to 1.9.1.2 then unpack everything to WoT installation folder after you finish installing the modpack.

Most likely some antivirus messing up with you or some unusuall windows settings, since that mods work fine... same issue like before anyway.
