Back After Long Hiatus - Any (easy) Way to Get Garage XVM but ZERO in-battle XVM Mods

I'm back after a long hiatus.  I wanted to try to play in-battle vanilla, but I really like / prefer all of the quality of life items that XVM provides in the garage.

 

I've tried not selecting any of the in-battle XVM items, but for some reason to a certain extent, they're still enabled.

You should select as much as you can in the installer in the XVM section, with some exceptions. Otherwise you will get some default options.
