Mods for linux(with steam)

Hello I have 2 questions. I use linux and sometimes have troubles with gaming. Most of the time I solve the problems but this time I couldn't.

My first question is, can aslain's be used with a steam account.

And the second is, How can I use wine to utilize your tool. I use wine to start the installer but it says checking for updates. The bar does not move(in fact, there is 0 progress) and I don't know the reason behind this. Weirdly the titlebar(?) of the app says "<unknown>". It does not have a label. Can you help me fix this?

1. Yes the installer is compatible with steam version

2. All I know is that MacOS users are using Wine successfully to install the modpack, so you should have no issues too, but that's all I know, there is also this old guide.
