Bug - Directory copying during install

Installing bug Aslain's Modpack v1.20.0.1 #10  

 

When installing the modpack the directory in which the installer is located and subsequently run is copying other folders (and their contents) in that directory into the following directory during install [C:\Games\World_of_Tanks_EU\Aslain_Modpack\]. (The individual files and shortcuts are not copied).

 

For example:

 

The installer was located in my downloads: it then copied 20GB of the various folders and their contents into the above directory including all the normal Aslains files and folders. 

I only noticed a issue as one of the filenames was too long and a error/fail occurred during the installation. Investigation revealed an additional 20GB was copied from my download folder in the Aslain_Modpack directory.

 

The above issues were repeated with similar results moving the Modpack installer into different directories although all within the C drive.

 

A fix was to move the modpack installer into a new folder with just the modpack.exe inside. No additional folders/files were copied.

I think I had this once or twince on my PC. Back then I found various folders and files that should not be copied there to Aslain_Modpack, let me know if the problem will repeat itselft. Last time it was related to the modpack exe shortcut creation I added recenty. Meanwhile I will change the installation code for this funtion a bit, maybe it will not create this issue anymore.
