modder
I'd like to try another modpack (ProMod) and I need to backup (and temporarily uninstall) Aslain's mod selection. So if I understand correctly, I need to backup _Aslains_Installer_Options.inf and later load it with LOADINF. But what about installed mods settings? How do I backup settings of that mods? Thanks. modder
I understand a part with backing up and loading selection of mods. However I'm not sure, how to backup mods that I have installed and configured in game. Quote Link to comment
Administrator Aslain Posted June 13 Administrator Share Posted June 13 I would suggest to not uninstall my modpack, so you will not lose all settings in game registry, and in DL folder together with some backups of mods configs. I'm not sure how it is in promod, but when you select clean install there, it will clean res_mods and mods folders, you can backup those folders as well. Quote Link to comment
Willy
maybe a tip for making a backup: during installing Aslainmodpack you have a menu, in the end, just BEFORE clicking INSTALL there is the list of checked mods, make a copy of this list in notepad (or whatever) and save that somewhere greetz willy Quote Link to comment
