Stevoni
Note: I'm testing these configurations with this replay I randomly grabbed: https://wot-record.com/replay/233497/jalava72_t_100lt_rigged_gun_see_for_yourself When I select "Remove annoying sound from destroying allied/enemy tank" the radio static no longer occurs. Configuration attached as "No Static" When I add the "Sounds instead of crew voices" sound mod, the radio static returns. Configuration attached as "No Static with Simple Sounds" A friendly dies ~50 seconds in to the game. _Aslains_Installer_Options - No Static.inf _Aslains_Installer_Options - No Static with Simple Sounds.inf Quote Link to comment
Administrator Solution Aslain Posted October 23, 2023 Administrator Solution Share Posted October 23, 2023 Sounds instead of crew boices and Remove annoying... are not working together, they change same file, one mod will overwrite another. It was always like that, and is not limited to just to this mod. Quote Link to comment

Stevoni
Thanks, I finally have a chance to try this out. You're right, I updated this file: [World of Tanks install location]\res_mods\1.22.1.0\gui\sound_notifications.xml Changing these two sections: <event> <name>ally_killed_by_enemy</name> <chance>100</chance> <fxEvent>expl_ally_NPC</fxEvent> <cooldownFx>0</cooldownFx> </event> <event> <name>enemy_killed_by_ally</name> <chance>100</chance> <fxEvent>expl_enemy_NPC</fxEvent> <cooldownFx>0</cooldownFx> </event> To: <event> <name>ally_killed_by_enemy</name> <chance>100</chance> <fxEvent></fxEvent> <cooldownFx>0</cooldownFx> </event> <event> <name>enemy_killed_by_ally</name> <chance>100</chance> <fxEvent></fxEvent> <cooldownFx>0</cooldownFx> </event> Is there a base file that this modified file is derived from? Administrator Aslain Posted October 29, 2023 Administrator Share Posted October 29, 2023 I will think to make this automatic. I usually don't do that, because it's like making 3rd mod from 2, but... Currently mods based on sound_notifications.xml are delivered hardcoded in this file, and not as auto-patcher of the original xml. Quote Link to comment
