Reticle Mesage before battle

Just installed 15 update.  I am getting a message at start of battle that the Reticle Dispersion Pro - Your current settings make this mod useless?  I see from the release notes 15 has tweaked reticle dispersion.

 

I use the Loadinfo loader so I presume I need to tweak something in the mod set up or the game?

CHAMPi's mods have it enabled by default, to display welcome messages and check for updates, my installer is turning these things off but this auto-feature is not always working for all. Try to reinstall the modpack, since this auto-disabler doesn't work on the first installation of CHAMPis mod but for another ones.

 

I don't understand your sentence about making this mod useless - elaborate.

You can always visit this mod menu in garage and turn them off.

That's the message I am getting on starting battle.  Just started appearing today.  Never seen it before.

I see, so this is not a welcome message, this is a warning. In this cause I would suggest you to manually delete this mod config, it's probably corrupted. Could you attach it here before you delete it ? I will send it to the mod author, maybe he made some mistake. It's in %appdata%

 

 

So in short, delete this file and you should be good.

I reinstalled 15, and checked and unchecked the box as that sometimes unsticks things but still the same today

Close the game and try to replace with this one: reticleDispersionPro.json

I spoken with CHAMPi, he said that this message was not error or anything like that. The meaning of this message was that the settings you have chosen in the menu are default, and you will see nothing changed in battle, so you should simply go to this menu I saw and pick your options. Probably your config was resetted by new mod version he released recently, that's why this confusion out of sudden.

I'm having this issue now, except there's no where in my garage to access the mod's settings to turn it on. Been having this issue for over a month.

I have downloaded the latest version of CHAMPi's Dispersion Pro mod but am still getting this message: Reticle Dispersion Pro You are playing with the default settings and would not benefit from this mod! Please configure your settings

 

I have read this thread and looked at CHAMPi's settings but I am not finding any information on what changes I need to make.

 

What should the "default settings" be I assume in the main WOT Reticle settings tabs?

It's because you have installed this mod, but you didn't make any choices in this mod's menu in garage, so it's not working and this message is valid.

Yes, the two boxes I didn't check fixed the issue.  Maybe CHAMPi could put a screen shot of the mod menu page showing what is mandatory to be set for the mod to work.

I think its done on purpose, everyone has own favorite settings in such mods, probably hard to force one setting for all the people maybe.
