ManGoatMustShave Posted May 20 Posted May 20 I rarely win supplies, since I suck at this game, but I got 2. I go to the window, select the option to open supplies, the screen changes to the airfield with a plane, and the game hangs. I let the game sit awhile, try ESC, no response and I had to kill the program. I checked your install directory for python.log, and it's again, empty. I uninstall your program, go back into the game, go to open supplies, and I have 1 left. I select Open Supplies and I watch it fall from the sky, bounce around and open up. I assume the first one opened but I didn't see the animation and don't know what I got. Quote
Administrator Aslain Posted May 20 Administrator Posted May 20 Remove some mods for hangar, and try if the game is working as intended for you. I would start with Tweaker: Hangar selector follow up with the other Tweaker branch mods if no help. Quote
ManGoatMustShave Posted May 20 Author Posted May 20 OK. I re-installed and didn't check the Tweaker stuff. Are you thinking of adding me to the payroll? I've got past debugging experience, although it was all mainframe automation and tape software. Not the same programs but same ideas. Quote
Administrator Aslain Posted May 21 Administrator Posted May 21 Testing is voluntary, I also test it myself, but there is always a greater chance of finding the reason if the person who has a problem checks it himself in case I cannot reproduce it. This is nothing new, in fact you are the first person in my 12 years of modding to complain about it, no one has ever had a problem with it 😉 In the end, it is voluntary, you can always give up and not use these mods. ManGoatMustShave Posted May 21 Author Posted May 21 It was a JOKE! I know that testing is voluntary as I chose, in my previous incident, to NOT continue the testing as it was so involved and time consuming. I have lived similar issues; a single client reports an issue with software used by thousands and will not do anything to recreate the issue and capture needed doc/dumps/logs. It's been a long month.
