CrowStorm Posted July 16 Posted July 16 Prior to wot 1.25.00 I had an arty impact circle (dashed purple/white maybe). Not a reticle. Not a sphere (like champi's). The circle hugged the terrain as if drawn from where Champi's sphere contacts the terrain.. Does anyone recognise the description above? A dashed-line arty impact circle. As far as I can tell its not "xvm sight for spg", not "Champi's Arty Impact radius", not "battle assistant". Perhaps its a selection in Aslain's modpack which I have forgotten and cannot now find? Thinking it was part of Champi's I looked at earlier versions of the Impact radius mod (prior to wot 1.25), but could not see any changes/difference. And from memory I didn't change any modpack settings at the time the circle disappeared (around the wot 1.25.00 update). Apologies, I have no screenshots of it - I emptied out my replays folder around the same time. Hoping someone know's and can point me in the right direction. Quote
Administrator Aslain Posted July 16 Administrator Posted July 16 the aim circle: Default w/more visible Arty circle is one is a victim of the game update to 1.25.1.0, and from what I see it's not updated yet. Quote
CrowStorm Posted July 16 Author Posted July 16 I think its this one. The dashed line where the sphere meets the terrain. Not an aim circle/ellipse. I have this mod selected. But in Champi's settings there is no selection for that impact circle. Only the sphere. Quote
Administrator Aslain Posted July 16 Administrator Posted July 16 This one you have on your screenshot is from XVM, and CHAMPi version is similar but you beed to installed one of them, not two at the same time. Quote

This is confusing. I have removed other arty mods (except for "XVM sight/Aim info/flight time/only in spg view" and "Battle Assistant") and kept only the one in my screenshot above (which says underneath - "Author Champi"), and I can confirm that this selection gives me Champi's arty impact radius mod. But this mod does not look like the one in the screenshot. And prior to wot 1.25.00 I had the one in the screenshot (with the dashed line). Am I missing something? Quote
Administrator Aslain Posted July 18 Administrator Posted July 18 I dont know if I understood you well. What are you missing the splash shpere mod or the aim circle for arty? The one on your screenshot is default aim circle from the game. Quote

The one on your screenshot is default aim circle from the game. The red arrow in this edited screenshot points to the black&yellow line on the terrain surface. That black&yellow line is what I am missing. Its a "splash circle", as opposed to a "splash sphere". Before wot 1.25.00 my arty sights used look the same as it does in the screenshot, except without the splash sphere. Just the black&yellow line (splash circle) and the default aim circle. I have the (same) Arty Impact Radius mod installed now, which comes up as champi's mod, with various settings. But there are no options for the splash circle. (2nd screenshot) Quote
Administrator Aslain Posted July 20 Administrator Posted July 20 CHAMPi said that since the last update the circle is much smaller and hard to notice. He will look into this problem. Quote
