No damage can be seen above the tank after the shot

When I fire I don't see dmg above the tank I hit and they don't lose hp on his hp bar either. And the tank doesn't get destroyed like usual either.

Maybe you are one of Overwolf users? Remove it. Like I warned in the changelog.

 

or disable it here + And delete mod_ow.pyc in res_mods
