crashing in startup and in game

When I start the game, the main stat sheet is up but while the load bar is running (before the countdown) the game crashes.  I reinstalled the mod pack, same problem.  I ran it vanilla and did not experience the same problems....  not sure if it's a mod issue but suspect so....
