New installer won't install

No logs really to give on this one...

Downloaded the new installer, and it won't launch.  Just sits there with the rotating pointer and crashed Windows Explorer.  Never had any install problems prior with the installer.

Running Windows 10 x64.

It's not the installer, it's your windows, specificaly it's some app installed on it, check your windows defender, add installer to white list maybe or remove windows defender like myself and replace it with something that actualy is helping.

 

Doesn't really matter if it was working before, and is not now. Also check installers crc to make sure it wasn't altered.

Gah - you were correct.  It was that stupid SmartScreen thing - the thing that usually says the source is unverified when you try to install.  For some reason it didn't even pop that up this time.
