lags up to 10s

- lags up to 10s (sometimes even more), in game and in chat

- AMP #42 since 17th of april. WoT ran fine the other days until yesterday

- today: not a single match without huge lags. I didn't change anything since yesterday (same options, same PC and so on, same mod pack)

- game runs fine without modpack (played 4 matches with lags, played one match without mods and lags, installed modpack again (cleared cache) and lags were back

 

is it just me? or do you have any clue what's causing the problem?

Unable to reproduce, loaded same mods, and no lag or low fps. Nothing suspicious in logs too. Maybe try to reduce mods amount.

I've been working on the subjekt for 3 days so far with the following results:

- fps always normal

- ping always normal

- i can _see_ all ohter players acting normally

- it's just me. i can move around the turret with my mouse. but i can _not_ properly steer my tank (driving, turning, shooting). when i press a key (or release it), in most cases it's simply ignored (result: tank is not moving or doesn't stop moving). only sometimes (once in 5-10s) a key-action works.

- even switching from one tank to another in garage takes between 5s - 15s when auto-equip-return has to change equipment.

 

I've tried to install the modpack with all options unchecked: most of the time same result - very odd.

And: even in safemode it happens! (not always but often) - very, very strange.

 

Do you have any idea what can cause this problem?

 

(I know AMP is apparantly not responsible for this particular problem, but i would appreciate any hint nevertheless.)

(repair option from wot launcher used without any result)

(no change to hardware, OS, software or whatever. problem came from day to the next one)

That sounds like a network problem, i.e. packet losts. Try to perform network diagnosis, there are several commands tools for that like tracer, ping etc. alternatively write to WG support.

 

You would have to ping and tracert a specific WoT server IP.

is anyone else using internet at same time?  when my missus does the odd thing on her i pad i get serious lag spikes. then bounces back to normal.

 

speedtest.net is a good place.

 

also if your router supports it try to limit all other internet connections between your hours of play time.

no network problem. ran severel tests (ping -n xxx to different ips at the same time wot was running and others, all other games / programs act normally)

tracert without any problems

 

still waiting for an answer from WG

 

I'll keep on testing over the weekend :-)
