Try using that. Remove ALL other mods. Sounds like you have an old version causing a conflict. Because it should NOT create res_mods config folder. You should be getting the config folder in MODS (not res_mods) folder.

No clue what to tell you. I took the file Aslain linked. Placed the tessu_mod.wotmod in \mods\ folder. Started WoT. And the config folder in \mods\ was created fine. Res_mods is the old location for the mod... it was updated, and properly moved to mods folder.

tessu_mod.wotmod placed in: \World of Tanks\mods\0.9.20.0\ When World of Tanks is started, when you're at the login screen, you'll find: \World of Tanks\mods\configs\tessu_mod\ And the config files. The config files are NOT in res_mods - and they shouldn't be in res_mods.

Works just fine here. Copy/pasted the engine_config.xml from res folder into res_mods, and made my tiny adjustments. But isn't it "preferences.xml" in the base-dir of WoWs that holds the graphics settings? Not sure why you'd get that crash, if you place engine_config.xml inside res_mods..

You should be able to do your testing by using the tutorial battle repeatedly, though it may not always produce same results, or work at all. But doesn't hurt to try

Armor penetration indicator is part of WoT without mods - though some mods adds a lot more information / visibility to it

He didn't just want to replace motherboard, or whatever was faulty... though more than just the motherboard might be faulty. Seems fishy, if you ask me, that he wants to upgrade to a new set (motherboard, processor, and what else follows), just to get a working computer again. And he's pretty much making people that love his mod pay for it - despite having a job. Russians. Hehe.

From what I gathered from his posts (in the rough Google translated forum, since he posts in Russian) - he has a job/works - and it's his home computer that broke. So he cannot update the mod. Why he cannot afford a replacement while having a job, is beyond me...

The author of Battle Observer has computer issues, and is asking for donations to pay for a new one, demanding that before he'll make an update.

Not installing a mod that requires those folders to be made I guess? If you have stuff outside the modpack you want to install, you really should look into the custom mods folder. \World of Warships\Aslains_Custom_mods\

In the WoWs launcher's top right corner, there's a Settings button. Click that. Then the "Support"-tab, and there's a "Check" button, which will make sure that your game is complete, and no issues.

Not having used the Improved Chat mods, did you try the gear-menu for it? Just throwing that one out there.. though you probably did already.

And what about the direct links? What happens if you try those? Nothing, or does it show it's waiting in the bottom left corner of your browser?
