Game hangs and a number of disconnects

The one I see the most is Crew skill informer having issues, try removing that and see what happens -
Gotta remember that while gremlins may be to blame for a good 50+% of the problems we have mods are frequently updated and those updates especially with the last pack update may have had a simple fix.... I personally still blame the gremlins though

Also if you don't have the perk it will not work. the commander in your crew must have 6th sense fully trained

Ok this is getting out of hand and there needs to be a solution. 10 minutes to download a 3MB DLC file? @Aslain Maybe it would be beneficial to just have a torrent source for the DLC files somewhere. It takes me 1/3 the time to get them from the torrent than it does waiting for the installer. The installer just had me limited to 72KBps on my latest download....

As I stated above with the mods added it's gonna be normal as the mods consume system resources. Perhaps the change of the code wargaming used to make the game makes it more noticeable. if you are having 45-65 FPS then you really don't have a lot to worry about as the game is still really playable at that framerate

Sounds like to me it's a hardware issue more than a software issue

I would suggest going to https://www.malwarebytes.com/mwb-download/thankyou/ and download. It's malewarebytes, it's better than your average antivirus and you can use it for free, with the option to upgrade it if you like it after a week or 2. another thing to maybe look into is Microsoft's Malicious Software Removal Tool which you can find here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/malicious-software-removal-tool-details.aspx. From what you are describing it sounds like you may have malicious software or a virus that your conventional antivirus isn't picking up. If neither of those find anything then the next option would be to 1. uninstall the game 2. right click on your Windows icon on your desktop and go to run, in the box type %appdata% and then hit enter. there is a folder named Wargaming.net, delete that! 3. restart your computer 4. reinstall the game and run it without mods to see if that has solved your problem. If so then try reinstalling the mods and run the game again. if the problem isn't there then cool, if it returns then supply your required logs that you didn't supply with your original post. The information as to which logs you will need are located here: -
I have the same thing but only during the countdown to the start of the game then everything is back to normal when the battle starts. All tanks, all maps

Windows Defender finds Malware in v.9.17.0.1 #28 (18-01-2017)
My_Gaming_TV replied to Tad's topic in Issues & bug reporting
No one is a windows hater, we all just have a lot of issues with it. It's been a source of problems for a lot of people who use this modpack in may ways. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this modpack and it carries no viruses. I did however suggest a way to confirm that there is no viruses with the modpack above in my first reply to your post so you can put your mind at ease on the issue. and if you read through a the forums this has been an issue that has been brought up before that has confirmed there is no issue with the modpack. Now that is of course that you only downloaded the modpack directly from this site and not somewhere else. -
those are the keys and you can use either the numpad or the regular keys above the unorginized alphabet too

That's pretty bizarre as this modpack or any other from Aslain has never had a virus........ let alone a password stealer. I suggest getting and installing Malewarebytes and use that to double check as they are more reliable than windows defender
