  1. To add to Quaksen's correct info, I think that is not even the WN8 number. I am pretty sure that it is your average damage per battle in that particular tank. The WN8 color rankings are also applied to average damage. So, if you had unicum level average damage in a particular tank, the damage number would be purple.
  2. Thanks Aslain. I tried it yesterday with the same results. I asked Krzysytof_Chodak about the problem on WoT forums but he has not answered yet. I think I like the mod from Spoter that is in the modpack better anyway. So, all is good with me now.
  3. This shows us how complicated producing an online game is. The variety of computers connected to the internet has to make a job in support at WG very interesting and complicated at times. Some people have had a fps drop after 9.10 and others, like me, had no change at all. I would not be surprised if some had an increase in fps.
  4. Thanks. You are the hero. It was not an annoying problem, but a fixed problem is no longer a problem.
  5. When I right click in an area where there are no tanks, enemy or ally, sometimes either an ally tank will be notified to "follow me" or an enemy tank will be marked as being attacked by me (I am an arty only player). I solved the problem by reinstalling all mods except for AutoAim+. Without AutoAim+ the problem does not exist. I reinstalled AutoAim+ before creating the logs I have provided. Thanks Aslain _Aslains_Installer.logpython.log
  6. Update. It is AutoAim + that is causing the problem. Even while in normal view, not strategic spg view, if I right clicked in an area in front of my arty where there was no tank at all, it would notify the nearest tank in chat to follow me. It even once indicated that I was attacking a dead ally tank...lol. I will post in the bugs section.
  7. I do not have a tank highlighted that I can see. I am placing my cursor on a spot on the mini map and clicking there. Explain to me how I can highlight a tank and click on the mini map at the same time. :-)
  8. If I am playing arty and wish to aim to a certain spot on the map, I can right click in the mini map (where there are no tanks) and instantly my aim point is moved to that spot. This works great, but often I see in the chat that I have either inadvertently clicked on an ally tank and asked him to "Follow me!", or I have indicated that I am targeting an enemy tank. These tanks are somewhere in between my arty and the spot I have clicked on the map. But, these tanks are no where near the actual spot where I clicked. Very often, they are maybe 50m in front of me and the spot where I clicked is maybe 800m away. This is very annoying to me as well as my teammates. Any ideas on how to correct this problem? It would be ok to remove the follow me function as being an arty only player, I almost never ask anyone to follow me....lol. I also understand that maybe because I am truly a professional "clicker" that my clicking is so powerful that it may be that I just do not know my own clicking strength.... B) Thanks for any assistance.
  9. I think that in 9.9 there was a change of some kind in the information WG provided about shell travel time and none of the arty sights had this information for a while. But, now some have this information and some do not. I use J1mbo's with 1 circle with the ProArty SPG Crosshair option selected. ProArty has the shell travel time. I think that the Sword of Damocles SPG crosshair also has shell travel time in case you do not like ProArty. I know Sword of Damocles had shell travel time in 9.9, but I have not tried it in 9.10 because I really like ProArty a lot.
  10. I think the OP is having problems with the Aslain's Modpack Installer and not with the Windows 10 installer. I could be wrong though. Maybe the OP will chime in again.
  11. I also have win 10 (pro), but I have not experienced this issue. Have you tried downloading at a later time? Which browser are you using? I am using Firefox and do not have the problem. There are reports on the internet of people experiencing problems such as crashes etc with Edge.
  12. Please add white dead tanks back to the mod pack. Thanks
  13. Please add the SPG sight options back to J1mbos sights, especially Sword of Damocles and ProArty (I believe this was the name of it). Sword of Damocles has a new version for 9.9 that displays the correct shell travel time. It is version 7.15. The current version in the modpack is v7.14 and does not display shell travel time in the spg sight. Once again, this request is meant for AFTER your holidays Aslain. Thanks
  14. Thanks Grandorf. I will try that. Update. Works great. Thanks again.
  15. Currently, we have the option to have the player names colored according to the player's rating on the alternative mini map mode (enlarged). I would like to have this available on the standard xvm mini map and not just on the alternative mini map.
  16. I think that it has to do with the habits of you as well as your target. From watching tanks through the arty sight for over 20k battles, most good tank drivers seem to always fire then move...stop to finish reloading in "safety" and then move back into firing position. Getting back into firing position, finding their next target and waiting on their aim circle is usually a bit faster than the aim time of most arties. Therefore you aim at them and wait, but they have acquired their target, aimed, fired and are beginning to move by the time arty gets fully aimed. So what to do? Well, playing most arties is very much an exercise in patience and self control for me. You have to study your target for a bit. Most "average" and below "average" tank drivers are creatures of habit. This fire, retreat and reload, return, aim and fire again cycle is the same over and over for them. So, if you watch this cycle a time or two, you may be able to have a feeling for the rhythm and adjust your timing. Some players will move immediately after firing and others will sit and wait for their shell to land before moving. This is all important information if you wish to do better in arty.
  17. Do you have a link to one of these mods? I have read where people say that such mods exist but nobody has ever shown where it is available. I believe that such mods are only a myth. Some players have learned not to sit still long enough for arty to get aimed and when they move, they have learned to move more than the splash circle of the arty shell. This frustrates the crap out of me as I am an arty only player...lol. As far as RNG in the arty game, after over 20k battles in arty, I believe that the biggest RNG in the game is the player driving the tank that I am aiming at.
  18. Thanks for your work and for sharing it here. I am sure that there are a lot of people (new and old) that can learn something from this.
  19. I voted for #2 because you said it was for enemy side only. Having the guns aiming to the middle of the screen is a lot more balanced in my opinion. If the friendly tanks were also aiming to the center, they would be aiming at each other which is great.
  20. strange...oh well. I just reinstalled it and it is working fine for me too. I guess the planets were a little bit out of alignment or maybe the Klingons are testing a new stealth method and it interfered with the mod....thanks anyway for your fast fix!!!! :P
  21. I have not tried it without BA installed, but the aiming circle is the same while using BA as well as without BA activated.
  22. Damocles Sword v7.14 does not have all of the dots in the aiming circle while in both arty strategic view as well as Battle Assistant view. There are only 4 of the dots visible instead of the complete circle. Below is a screenshot as well as the required logs. Thanks _Aslain_logs.zip python.log
  23. Please read the instructions on how to report a bug or an issue. You need to include the proper files for Aslain to investigate your problem. The information is contained here: http://aslain.com/index.php?/topic/9-how-to-report-a-bug-or-issue/
  24. is there a problem with simply renaming the 9.8.0 folder to 9.8.1?
