Y_Pestis Posted March 30, 2020 Posted March 30, 2020 As heading: client crashes nine times out of ten going from "synchronising equipment and consumables" into "updating garage" when opening the game, and then again (when it does finally open the client properly) going from a battle back into the garage. I've run reinstalled WoT and run without mods. No problems. Also run the integrity check. No problems. Aslains_WoT_Logs.zip Quote
Administrator Aslain Posted March 30, 2020 Administrator Posted March 30, 2020 There is no trace of crashing in your logs. When does the game freeze and how often? Write at what time and minute it happens. Have you tried to delete game caches? Quote
Y_Pestis Posted April 1, 2020 Author Posted April 1, 2020 Thanks for the response. It happens in nine out of ten attempts to open the game, either using the Game Centre or directly. As I said, it's usually while, or immediately after, going from "synchronising equipment and consumables" to "updating the garage" so 30-35 seconds after clicking "connect." Sometimes that is delayed, so I get to hear the garage sound track (birdsong) before it crashes, sometimes even get to see the garage before it crashes. There's a 3-5 second freeze, then a crash. However, the same thing also happens sporadically when entering a battle from the garage. I've had as many as eight consecutive client crashes while attempting to join a single battle. The timing of the freeze varies: it is frequently as soon as the appearance of the screen indicating the map to be played. If not then, it can be during the "battle hint" screen, or less frequently, the count down. There are also once or twice daily crashes during battles - and then invariably multiple crashes while attempting to rejoin. The system, btw, is an ROG G752VS with 64Gb RAM, running ultra graphics at a limited 60fps on turbo, & fans permanentlly set at 100%. It should be more than capable of handling WoT with one hand tied behind its back. No, I've not tried deleting the games caches. How do I do this? Further to my last, this is typical (NB Flashback movie file): Untitled1.fbr Quote
