Problems since new update

hi guys

dont know if its just my crappy laptop but i started using the 3.8.6 version yesterday, game was fine all ok....

updated to the 3.8.7 and everytime im in a battle the game freezes...am going bk onto 3.8.6 to see if it is my laptop or the mod but posted this in case anyone else had this same issue.....new to using XVM but installed using the installer so everything went to where it should be.....

I have not been experiencing any problems. We will need your _Aslain_logs archive from your WoT folder in order to assist you though.

ok. will have to re install the 3.8.7 update again as i reverted to the previous 3.8.6 and had no probs...will leave it til tomorrow and see if can sort it then...thx for the reply

If you're still experiencing problems, just upload the logs and we'll be able to assist you.

 

However, make sure that you're using the correct version of the installer, have no conflicting sound or hitlog mods, and are cleaning out your WoT and Aslain's Installer Cache whilst installing the mods.

yeah when i install the updated one i use installer and make sure it cleans out the res_mod folder b4 installing...i may b doing something wrong but this is 1st time i been using xvm soprobably be a noobish mistake hahahahaha....will make sure all folders associated with aslain r gone b4 installing 3.8.7 again, just to be certain....whether it works or i get probs will leave comment here letting u know....thx

Also make sure you udpate to 3.8.7_v1, it has a hotfix and different XVM version, might work better for you.

installeded last night just now awaiting chance to test out when i have spare 5mins. made sure all was deleted/uninstalled from 3.8.6 b4 installing......see ya soon guys n wish me luck :)

cheers pal, yep had the same issue as yesterday, and with the set up was exactly same as the 3.8.6 version......attempting one more time t see if it was me then if same problem will get the files onto possibly b me dropbox and give link...again thx for the continued help :)

Aslain, Scorpiany and any admin/modertators, i have now updated to 3.8.8 and with same settings as used on 3.8.6 & 3.8.7 there seems to be no problems at all......no freezing of screen or game, all looks ok and working fine....so it seems there was something wrong with the 3.8.7 version that wouldnt let play on my laptop but no matter as now got the 3.8.8 and works perfectly....

again many thx for all help in this matter even tho i been a pain in the ass.....

this thread can now be changed to problem resolved or even deleted....

hope to see some of u in game at some point in my gaming career, townterrier, and gl&hf to all in WoT
