Shadow_Snatcher
Hey guys, Iv'e always heard that its good to exit out of the game (any game) before installing mods, something like tf2 though you can do with the game on because it checks client info during the connection phase. Is this the same with WoT? Would be nice to know becuz I would like to test some mods and exiting and entering can be bothersome and annoying. Thanks :) -SS Quote Link to comment
Moderator Quaksen Posted September 3, 2015 Moderator Share Posted September 3, 2015 I don't know for sure, but I'd say "No" you cannot install mods without closing the game and reopening it. The mods would need to get loaded, and I'm pretty sure that's only done when opening the game. Quote Link to comment

This is the moment when the game checks if everything it needs is there and if there are any changes to the existing game files. Quote Link to comment
shagy11
You can't do it without reopening but you can get updater message before you start WoT. Look at this: http://forum.worldoftanks.eu/index.php?/topic/499114-aslainupdater/ Quote Link to comment
