markarose
Hey Aslain, Thanks for developing this amazing modpack!! I've been using it for a very long time now. I just downloaded the latest version of it and my AVG detected a trojan horse in your file. I'll attach a pic of it here for you so you can see what it is. If you could help with this I'd really appreciate it because I can't reinstall your modpack anymore as my AVG won't allow me to. :( Thanks! Mark. Quote Link to comment
Moderator Quaksen Posted September 25, 2015 Moderator Share Posted September 25, 2015 It's a false positive, nothing to worry about. Only AVG's heuristics scan being stupid.. https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/6d0747ff3934c505f7a672b8624af175eed9f523ef70cef15959858cdaf1db79/analysis/ Quote Link to comment
Razed56
Ok. Mine is going ballistic too. Still, in this day and age, better to ask before something eats my HD.... Quote Link to comment
markarose
Ok, awesome! now.. the question is.. how do I go around AVG and install your modpack? Quote Link to comment
MGIMATTY
Right click the AVG icon hit the second option from the top. This will open a dialogue box asking you how long you wish to temporarily stop AVG. Quote Link to comment
HAWGHEAD
After downloading modpack and choosing to run, the screen which asks you to choose language is where you should disable AVG for 10 minutes by rt clicking on the AVG icon in your system tray, then click on appropriate language, then click to next screen which is "select components" screen. Before actually choosing which mods you are about to install, this is where you should ENABLE AVG. Then make your mod selections and finish out as in the past. This way, AVG is scanning the mods you are downloading for those that may fear downloading any file without AVG protection. As stated several times here, this is a false positive. 1 Quote Link to comment

Sumona
The 'Trojan' is most likely the .exe actively searching for your WoT installation client location. Quote Link to comment

Actually, it's the isslideshow.dll file, as shown in the picture :P Description Slide-Show with fx transitions effects, for inno setup. Also known as, the preview window! :D Quote Link to comment
