WoW 5.10 modpack wont open and locks the computer

Im trying to open the latest version available, but it wont open the modpack. It takes severel minutes for it to respond and then it just ends up not responding after quite a while  Im running windows 10. It used to work.

Also trying to right click the modpack in my folder and it wont let me, makes the folder not responding.

Bruger du Windows Defender? For det kan vidst godt være derfor, fordi Windows Defender bliver lidt crazy over filen.

Then it looks like Windows Defender is being a bit stupid, when it comes to the modpack installer. For both WoT and WoWs.

Weird.

I'm having the same issue, Windows 10 Home.  I've never had an issue with any version of the mod pack before.
