modpack not working

with this latest modpack update, after i go in battle my game wont load

I am also having this problem since a minor game update, I have been unable to get any Aslain modpack to work.  The game gets about 2/3 through the loading bar then exits to desktop, on every machine I've tried installing it.

I have taken the following remedial actions:

1. completely removed Aslains (game works fine).
2. Done the "clean install" (game exits as noted).
3. Done a non-clean install (game exits as noted).
4. Uninstalled aslains from the control panel and then done steps 2 and 3 above (game exits as noted).

5. Used old versions of the install pack as far back as the 07 version for this release (game exits as noted).

6. Done all of the above with ever-decreasing numbers of configured mods checked off (game exits as noted).
