theSeaRatz Posted November 20, 2016 Posted November 20, 2016 (edited) Hello, Over the past few updates I've had issues with installed crosshair mod's not appearing. I usually like Eye of Sauron, but I've tried installing others and the same basic crosshair appears. I enjoy using the angular lines to catch angular ships heading towards or away from me. Any suggestions or is this perhaps a "Fair Play" policy change? I am using the "just another zoom mod" as well. Thanks for all your hard work Aslain, the mods make the game greatly enjoyable!! Moderator Quaksen Posted November 20, 2016 Moderator Posted November 20, 2016 Fair Play Policy is posted for World of Tanks though, World of Warships is a completely different game. Are you selecting the crosshair in the settings? The description of your crosshair should tell you which to pick. Quote
theSeaRatz Posted November 20, 2016 Author Posted November 20, 2016 I select a crosshair mod. The Modpack installs without errors. When I load game the basic crosshair is what appears in binocular view. Just wondering if anyone else has noticed it. Quote
Moderator Quaksen Posted November 20, 2016 Moderator Posted November 20, 2016 In the WoWs settings - did you select the proper crosshair? As far as I know, the crosshair mod replaces one of the already existing crosshairs - but you need to select it. Quote
theSeaRatz Posted November 20, 2016 Author Posted November 20, 2016 Antivirus off during install: always Game validation: check- no issues. Clean install removing DLC cache: check Chose Hooterz Tictac "Eye of Sauron": check **removed zoom mod from install list**-troubleshooting Mod install completed: with no errors Load game-enter battle. Same, old, crosshair. And I am running Win7 Ultimate with 4GB Ram. System runs WoWS fine. Quote
Moderator Quaksen Posted November 20, 2016 Moderator Posted November 20, 2016 I'll repeat myself a third time, as you haven't really answered it: Did you select the proper crosshair in the World of Warships settings menu? Did you select the Type 1 crosshair, in the settings menu, under Controls? Quote
theSeaRatz Posted November 20, 2016 Author Posted November 20, 2016 My apologies. It seems a number of weeks ago I set dynamic range after reading a post about it. Static and Type 1 has set everything back to normal. Thank you. I will triple read the responses from now on. Quote
Moderator Quaksen Posted November 20, 2016 Moderator Posted November 20, 2016 Hehe Good to hear you have it sorted now Quote
