nana Posted July 6, 2017 Posted July 6, 2017 (edited) I have some request for Aslains_Custom_mods folder. Please consider this. 1. Do not need to compress mods files. 2. Be sure to omit the version folder. e.g. Aslains_Custom_mods\gui\... Aslains_Custom_mods\texts\... Aslains_Custom_mods\locale_config.xml ... Edited July 6, 2017 by nana Quote

But easy to maintain files without compress. 31 minutes ago, Quaksen said: 2: How would it then know to put the files in the correct folders... Maybe current client version. It seems that Aslains installer already knows it. Quote
Moderator Quaksen Posted July 6, 2017 Moderator Posted July 6, 2017 That's what the whole "VERSION" folder is for... so installer can put it properly. It needs it. Is it really such a big problem to create one folder extra? Quote
nana Posted July 6, 2017 Author Posted July 6, 2017 Actually in most cases, we only use current version folder. And changing folder name and compressing each client or mod update are troublesome for some users, I think. Certainly it is not a big problem, but... Quote
Moderator Quaksen Posted July 6, 2017 Moderator Posted July 6, 2017 You can use "version" folder name... without the numbers. Name it "version"..... If you're manually entering the actual numbers, no wonder you're complaining about it, hehe added 1 minute later WoWs custom folder text file doesn't mention it I think, but the WoT one does: For example: res_mods\version\gui\.... instead of res_mods\0.9.14\gui\ Quote
nana Posted July 6, 2017 Author Posted July 6, 2017 Oh, I misinterpret! Now I try "version" folder name, and it works as I wanted. Thanks for the info All that is left is #1. If it is not a lot of work, implement it please. Quote
