Delay loadinig into Battle

when I load into a battle I was getting the count down screen with less than 10 seconds left. So I removed the mods folder and reinstalled the mods, now when I finally load in  10 to 30 seconds of the battle have already elapsed this issue started about 4 weeks ago. If I run vanilla this issue does not occur, I had this problem awhile back and removing the mods folder and reinstalling the mods resolved it but that did not work this time. One other issue when my sixth sense goes off I loose all sound for 5 to 10 seconds.
