Yes you should have 0.7.8. Renaming version to 0.7.8 should move its contents to 0.7.8.

I don't know if this can help it, but maybe download this and unpack to WoWs installation folder. Then go to res_mods and rename folder "version" to 7.8.0. Let me know if it fixed your problem.
