Problem using Free XP for research of tanks and equipment

When I try to research a tank or equipment, a box pops up forcing me to spend gold to get the required XP even though I have plenty of free XP available.

 

When I run the game without the mod there is no problem.

Lock icon in the top right corner. Click it. You locked your free xp.
