Moderator Quaksen Posted September 12, 2019 Moderator Share Posted September 12, 2019 Malwarebytes is just freaking out when the modpack is changing files in the res_mods and mods folders. The mass change of files triggers it, since ransomware would change files quickly too. Quote Link to comment
RossaLuna
Thanks for letting us know, I got the same alarm, now I don't need to worry about it. Again thanks! Giada Quote Link to comment
RossaLuna
NOTE TO MALWAREBYTES USERS.... You will need to uncheck Malware Protection to the off position and install Alsain. Edited September 12, 2019 by RossaLuna Quote Link to comment
m0nstertr4x
Instead of disabling or turning off your AV etc.. The correct method to shutup your AV would be to add the WOT directory to the exclusion list from your AV software. For Malwarebytes, the method can be found here >> https://support.malwarebytes.com/docs/DOC-1130 No matter which AV software you use, it has this exclusion functionality.. just google it Edited September 16, 2019 by m0nstertr4x 1 Quote Link to comment
