Accurate dmg indicator

This was a thing at one point. I remember that something similar was in the modpack as well. I think, the extra "middle screen indicator" even glowed up, when we aimed to the right direction. Is anything like this available atm?

 

I love my dashed style reticle (https://i.imgur.com/UI1mC6v.jpg ), and I really don't want to use the diagonal style. At the same time, I'm missing out on a lot of accurate blind shots, because I don't have a "middle screen reference point" at all. To be clear, all I would need is that one little line in the middle of the screen: in the red circle

Yes, I could draw a line with a pen to the middle of my monitor, but... you know.

Any info or tip is appreciated!

My best idea atm to use something like the Danger Lights or MoE mod and position their hud in a way so I can use them as reference point to aim accurate blind shots. But that kinda defeats my general goal to use a clean/minimalistic setup.
