ENPRO Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 as a scout i count on being able to mark targets for arty can u please help me as i am having trouble getting it to work consistently has anyone else had problems? Quote
Administrator Aslain Posted March 25, 2015 Administrator Posted March 25, 2015 Not sure what kind of issue you have exactly. Spotting is automatic. Quote
Grandorf Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 Hi Direct qoute from forum: Introduction to Spotting Spotting is basically what your commander can see. When your commander "spots" an enemy, the enemy becomes visible to you. Terrain can cause you to not be able to spot the enemy. This is due to the fact that your viewports cannot reach the tank or the tank is camouflaged making it harder to detect. Spotting damage Many of you may not know this but if you spot an enemy and your teammates shoot at him, you get experience and credits but halved. This is what is known at spotting damage. You get experience and credits when you personally do damage to an enemy but you also get experience and credits if you spot an enemy and your teammates do damage. Quote
Constantin Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 Maybe he is talking about marking a target like you do when you want to focus fire - pressing the 'T' key(when you reticle? is on the target) and something doesn't work well there. 1 Quote
ENPRO Posted March 25, 2015 Author Posted March 25, 2015 yes in fact it is the T key that is not working :D Quote
Administrator Aslain Posted March 25, 2015 Administrator Posted March 25, 2015 Show your logs too, so I can try to reproduce this and start fixing if needed. Quote
Grandorf Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 Hi You could try going to ingame settings, controls-tab and try changing "request fire" to another key. Quote
Administrator Aslain Posted March 27, 2015 Administrator Posted March 27, 2015 can you try without Radial Menu Mod? Quote
Administrator Aslain Posted March 27, 2015 Administrator Posted March 27, 2015 Played with your setup but the T key is working fine. Quote
