Battlenat0r
Hi. Been like this for many patches now, and now I have reinstalled Windows 11... AND renamed preferences.xml incase the stored data were preventing the mod. But still the mod won't show up, every other mod that's installed works.. Administrator Solution Aslain Posted June 23 Administrator Solution Share Posted June 23 I don't know why it's not working for you, the mod is perfectly fine, so only you are affected. Maybe delete mods settings, which is World_of_Warships\profile\userprefs_DamageMeter.json 1 Quote Link to comment
Battlenat0r
yup, that worked. Since it has become such an issue. Is there a way to add such cleanup tool for profiles and preferences in the installer? Quote Link to comment
Administrator Aslain Posted June 23 Administrator Share Posted June 23 I don't think it's feasible to implement a feature to clean the preferences.xml file. It's a complex task because modders use different names and store configurations in various code segments, making it difficult to track and clean them. It would become a nightmare to manage. However, if the damage meter gets bugged for you, you can always remove the file manually, which is not too troublesome. 1 Quote Link to comment
