Heavy lag spikes when playing whit double gun tanks

Hello

First of all thanks for mantaing this awesome modpack but i m here to report a glitch when using the modpasck 😞

 

Yesterday i got the 703II from the trade-in, started a random map and i discovered that every time i shoot the game lag very badly for 1 second and the tank move a bit ( forward or backward )

Then i tryed the ts-54 and same behaviour 😞 i guess is something that happen only when using a double gun tank since i have many many tanks and never had this issue.

The modpack version is the latest one (v1.24.1.2 #11).

Oh, this is going to be hard to verify I can bet. Attach logs (see my post signature), some proof (video), replay from such battle. I will check it when I can, might be next week.

I forgot to add that disabling the mods fix the problem, yeah i have many mods installed, finding the cause will not be easy i think.

 

I was about to record a vid, and if you need i can provide the txt file whit the list of installed mods.

Read my post signature with info about logs 🙂 And attach them. Preferable in zip format from the logs archiver.

In the video you can see the tank moving after firing ( the lag indicator was solid green )

I’m experiencing the same issue with the 703 II: there’s a delay when firing. Initially, I thought it was due to my ping, but it seems other tanks are unaffected

i tested with the configs posted and i could not recreate it
played with V12 from installer, played 703 II and the is 3 II, could be due to server issues

if the issue still continue after the upcoming patch please reply back and will check it out again,

Weird issue i know, i tryed unistalling some mods but still didn t got the 'faulty' one. I will report if this persist after 1.25.

 

@trung My issue looks different from yours, everytime after i shoot the tank lag 1-2 meter forward or backward ( the direction looks random )

I don t think it s a server or connection issue, it happens only on dual gun tanks ( i have 703 and ts54 ) and my router run openwrt on a n100 whit 16gb ddr5 that run a 2,5/1 gigabit gpon fiber, whit SQM on.

Isn't the same key by default ? primary mouse button ? 1 click to shoot, keep the button pushed for the double shoot

I never changed the key bindings.

I'm not saying this is your issue, but using the same key tends to cause a bit of a hiccup for most players.  It also leads to the shot being slightly delayed as it doesn't go until the button is released.  Try assigning it to something else and see if it clears up your issue.  If not, you can always change it back.

Tested removing/rebinding the salvo key, the issue is still there 😞 and i made a new video since i noticed the tank move only when i'm in sniper mode. (modpack version 1.25 #04)

UPDATE

I got a spare sata ssd to instal a *buntu distro ( i m trying to leave windows 😛 )

Running the game whit bottles and the issue persist on linux too when i use the mods i have on windows.

 

*All the configs/mod folders are a copy of the win install ( v1.25.0.0 #8 )
