dundivin Posted June 13 Author Posted June 13 Will do. I have just had to reinstall Windows again as WOT kept crashing my PC. This is the third time it has happened. Nothing to do with mods as it crashes in vanilla mode, safe mode and SD/HD. This time as it was going to a BSOD it wiped out Windows completely (unusual but it did) I have reinstalled Win 11 and the game, and all appears to be working but there are some definite quirks. I always keep the settings as you outlined in your previous post about recovering mods. It also appears to be requiring me to update controls/graphics/sound settings every time I log on at the moment. Maybe do a reinstall and try again. J Quote
Moderator Theolitius Posted June 13 Moderator Posted June 13 how to get /make logs is explained here in case you need it. this way we can see if you have installed dead tanks white, or tracks or both etc edit: the white dead tanks works fine for me with v.1.25.0.0_08 installer. Quote
Administrator Aslain Posted June 13 Administrator Posted June 13 It's also worth to check your AV in case it's interrupting downloading/installing some mods, additionaly I recommend you to wipe out this folder and reinstall the modpack, sometimes helps with corrupted downloads: World_of_Warships\Aslain_Modpack\DL_cache\ Quote
dundivin Posted June 13 Author Posted June 13 Deleted the cache, reinstalled version 8, did my tweak to BattleLabelTemplate to centre the damage stats on a 4k display as I normally do, and used the archiver. As part of that I found that some prog had installed RAV Endpoint and jeezo that is hard to get rid of. Aslains_WoT_Logs.zip Quote

So you did all that things, and did it help? Quote
dundivin Posted June 13 Author Posted June 13 It did Aslain, dead tanks are white again. I know it wasn't from your installer mate. It probably sneaked in as I was rebuilding the apps on the PC. Revo Uninstaller has got rid of it. A useful utility I will hang onto. Thanks for assistance. I will keep the install log prog handy. I am going to do a regular full back up, as the BSOD have happened 3 times now, but only when WOT is running. There has got to be some sloppy dose in there somewhere which is reacting with Windows processes. I don't have any fancy progs on the PC, just basic stuff, bit I am going to close my C Drive using WD Acronis package to keep a version of windows I know is working!. Thx again J Quote
