Distance Marker Error Reading File

Hello,

 

since some versions of the Modpack, I have the same error before the Server-Login-Window appears. I did the steps from your manual  several times since your last 4 versions.

 

I run a Windows 10 PC. Screenshots are attached. Can you help or guide me through the error?

Could you attach the config file for the mod, please?

 

It's in: World of Tanks\mods\configs\DistanceMarker

Try deleting the config file, and running the game.

 

If that doesn't work, then author of the mod suggested there might be an issue with your drive, due to the spam of "NULL" in your config file.

I deleted the config-File and now the error is gone. The Mod doesn't work, but the error is away. That's the main thing. Thank you!!!

You could try reinstalling modpack, and hopefully config might be fine then?

If you don't mind, could you share the config file, if it was re-created, and your logs again, before you reinstall?

Author would like to see if anything changed or what is going on 🙂

The author is lucky, because I was to tired to reinstall the mod yesterday.

Pruszko, author of the mod, had a look at the config and logs you posted last, and found nothing wrong.

 

Could we trouble you for a screenshot during battle, just in case you maybe missed the marker?

And log files created just after you started the game client (before you go into a battle)?

 

And lastly, if you're on Discord, might be easier to set you up with him directly, so you two could work together on fixing this, if there is indeen an issue? 🙂

Since the latest Update, the problem is gone and the distance marker works fine. Thank you for the Discord-advice.
